I cannot contain my excitement! I know the trip is around half a year from now, but... but... I am just very ecstatic! I will make sure to look back on this post every now and then so I can memorize everything by the time I leave.
I feel like a crazy person trying to plan exaggeratedly way ahead of time. I'm just OC like that, especially that I am going alone and in a foreign place I've never been to. I just think I should know a little so I can bargain just the right price for everything, I just wanna blend in. I wanna learn to commute too and not to take too much cab rides, that's how I am when I visit a place, I wanna know my way around by taking trains, buses, jeeps, or ferries, I think every traveler should do the same, it doesn't only save you money but sometimes, also time. I actually wanna do backpacking someday, though my friends always tell me I cannot coz I am a girl and it can be very dangerous for me. Nevertheless, I need to cross backpacking alone in my bucket list so I am gonna try soon.
I think knowing the native language of the land goes hand in hand with travelling practically as well as conveniently. In no time, I will be able to speak the basics. It's just like "Tagalog" just a bit of different in intonation.
Lots of luck in learning Bahasa,
