Patayin sa Syokot si Remington

This is kind of a late review since I saw the flick a couple of weeks back. Nevertheless, I won't pass up writing about this film since it was one of the most humorous Pinoy flick I've ever watched. At first, I didn't wanna watch it since I feel like I've always had enough doze of beckyness everyday at work but the reviews turned out great and everyone who watched it were raving about it. The film automatically got me so curious that I just had to treat my sister to a late night movie date.

Here's how the story goes, again, I got this from another reviewer since I am the laziest person to even try to make my own summary: A young boy named Remington (Mart Escudero), who has a knack for taunting gays, gets cursed by an aged homosexual (Roderick Paulate). Years later, Remington begins to experience attacks from masked macho-men, allowing him to wake up the next morning having undergone involuntary changes in his body, way of talking, and, yes, sexual preference. More alarming is the fact that an unknown killer is mysteriously murdering gays in their once idyllic village. Now Remington and his friends must find a way to re-transform to his old self before he gets killed next. (source)

There were particular scenes that kept me laughing my brains out most:
And the one below made me feel like I lost my virginity all over again. OMG!!! : ))
Lastly, the last scene below, "kelangan may macho dancer ang entrance mo teh?" LOL : ))

Didn't regret watching this flick even for a second. It totally made me crack up and love the becky crowd even more. They never fail to bring joy to everyone. Hopefully, this should also serve as an eye opener to those who discriminate homosexuals. There would always be a reason why people end up that way, whatever they are, they are still human and I can say that these people have a good heart, in fact, even better than those heterosexuals that judge them.

BTW, can I just say, it is the first time I have seen this guy (Marc Escudero) in my life. But hands down, that was a stellar performance, no one else could have given more justice to the role of Remington. Kudos to a job well done.

I know its not on cinemas anymore but I would still suggest that you try to grab a copy and watch it. Whenever you need some cheering up, just watch this and you'll feel a bit lighter. : )

Star City

Last Monday, my boss decided that she wanted to go to Enchanted Kingdom. But then, due to the very stormy season, it was closed. So she decided to opt for Star City instead. OMG, it's been years since I last went there, I can't even count. So, due to my curiousness, I came with the team to experience what the place has to offer after a decade or more.

We got there around 330PM but it doesn't open until 4PM so we grabbed some snacks before finally pushing through with one of our crazy adventures. I didn't think it would be open due to the weather condition that day but I was wrong on that assumption since most of the attractions were actually inside a huge warehouse-like place with a roof that would keep everyone from getting wet.

I think some customers that day took the motto seriously and dressed very star-like regardless of the ridiculous weather. It was very entertaining to check them out while waiting in line to get in.
Yun oh! Star na Star ka teh. : ))

BTW, we got a Ride-All-You-Can ticket for PhP350 plus Laser Blaster for PhP120. Not bad for affordability, nonetheless, nearing EK's price range but not yet up to par with the Kingdom. If you're not a fan of rides though and just wanna see what it is like inside the City, General Admission is PhP60.

I had a terrible cough during that day and first thing I noticed was the dustiness of the place since I was coughing the whole time. Goodness! Shout out to Star City, place tidy up the place, and I mean the dust, not just the trash lying around. PLEASE.

Here was what I was able to test so far:

VIKING
At first we were even ranting that it was so slow and it didn't go high enough for adrenaline, but after a while, it was high all the way that some of my mates decided to tap out and was shouting "hindi na kayo nakakatuwa ah." I was LOL-ing, shouting and coughing like hell the whole time.

BLIZZARD
I think that is what it's called but all I can say is I was controlling my body to not go with the motion of the ride to avoid bruises and bumps.

BUMP CARS
What's new? I'm sure you know how this one goes.

GABI NG LAGIM
This was tiring for me, I don't think it is scary for a normal person but for someone like me whose heart jumps at the smallest of things, it is horrible to experience. I think my mates had pinch and nail marks all over. : ))

TIME TRAVEL
I'm not sure what this is called either. But it is simply like a mini museum that shows you how everything went from caveman to spaceman.

LASER BLASTER
This is a lot of fun, I wish it was longer. I didn't know how to use the laser gun, nevertheless, I was glad to do it with people I always have fun with. We just kept laughing and going after each other. : ))

Sorry for the lack of pictures, most of the rides, they don't allow you to take photos. These are the only few ones I experienced inspite of the ride all you can ticket since I wasn't feeling well already plus the rain was pouring nastily outside. I had to catch a shuttle in Taft to avoid the traffic of SLEX so I had to brave the angry droplets of water without an umbrella. I am foreseeing a fever coming and I still had to work the following day. (If you saw my last post, that confirmed my vision of getting sick, good job for testing the capacity of my body)

Anyway, I'm pretty sure you'll find something you'll like in this place. It's not so great but fun nonetheless. I don't think I would frequent the place as much as I go to EK though. That's a personal opinion, I still think that if you're with good company, no matter where your feet leads you, it would still be an awesome time. : )

One of my fave brands that started out online and now it can be seen in more places than one.

I've always admired their products. I usually check them out whenever they participate in bazaars or I just simply drop by at Mia Bella in Serendra.

These are some items I own that's Cole Vintage
i have the above in BLACK and the one below in TAUPE
I am also getting a couple of bags and what not this coming pay day. So, I guess I'll drop by SM Makati or Mia Bella instead of ordering it online.

my dream proposal

I may be such an Ice Queen in person but when it comes to grand romantic gestures, I am cheesy deep down inside too. No matter what facade a girl puts up, I just know, she still needs surprises and romance every now and then. If sweetness doesn't melt you, then what does? Good looks? Nah. Efforts and sweetness plus a whole lotta sense and humor wins for me.

I haven't witnessed any proposal that didn't make my eyes water. I am such a sucker for seeing two people helplessly in love in a moment they'd remember forever. That is why it would also be a challenge to propose to me since I have so much demands. Most of all, tears need to run down my cheeks, if not, the proposal is not effective. LOL

DEAR YOU,
Here are my requirements:

First of, the RING. I particularly want a pink heart cut diamond. I want it to be the right size, meaning, not so big to attract the attention of hold up-ers and not too small to not know the cut is heart shaped.
Secondly, the VENUE. I think the place always sets the mood and puts everything in place. Since I love the sun, sea, and sand, the beach would be the best place to do it or to make it easier, just somewhere near a body of water. Plus, take into consideration the drama of sunsets. Sunsets have always been my inspiration ever since my younger years for art pieces and this is one moment that would say a whole lot when created into a picture. Make sure it has a stairway lit up with candles going to the shore, plus more candles when you get to the shore. Rose petals would be a plus. Oh the drama. ♥
Lastly, I want my friends and family to be there. It gives me a piece of mind that you asked their permission first and they all said YES even before you asked me. And I want the whole thing caught in camera. : )) We can have a small get together after.

It would be something like this but even better.

SINCERELY,
The Ice Queen that would melt when you do this

I promise to act surprised,

ALT codes

Let's face it, a little set of pictures always makes what you want to say better seen or even understood. Sometimes, I just like placing extra characters on the things i type to express myself more. There are even moments where one character can already say what is on your mind. Alt codes help me do these things even without JPEG, GIF or what not files. Instead of always browsing or trying to memorize those "Alt Keys", I decided to keep a collection of them on a file so it'd be more handy when I need them.

If in case you need help in using them as well, this is what I created this post for.

Here are the basics, just press alt+(number code)
